Not feeling too good today... chemo takes its toll. Sandra and I had a good visit over breakfast this a.m.. We looked through some of my photos from Guatemala together, as we have both lived there in the past. We talked about saving up $$ so when we're done with our chemo teatments we can go down to Guatemala for a visit. I'd LOVE to spend a few days at Lake Atitlán, and a Sunday in Chichicastenago. Let's GO!

FREEDOM from bondage

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."[c] But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.

When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

I'm ready for Halloween...with a little help from Dr. chemo.!!! :0) I'll be half-way through my 8 treatments tomorrow...YAY!!!
God is Oh!, so sufficient in meeting my every need! Here's a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who have been praying and being here with me. I am learning to know God's Peace because of His Love and faithfulness exemplified in you! May He bless you with His kindness and grace in Jesus Christ, Who's walking alongside me every step along this path.

Max died this morning. It was a tough night from about 1:30 a.m. 'til 5:30. I am just so thankful that God let me have him all this time and relieved his suffering while I was with him to hold and comfort him. He's been such a good comfort and companion to me. I think he's probably running and jumping and giving Xela, my afghan hound in heaven, someone to keep up with now! :0)

I miss him so much!

p.s. it was his daddy's, Mark's, 50th birthday today.
